About

I'm João Pedro "JP" Lepecki — a kid from Rio, full of dreams and questions, now based in Cambridge/Boston.

Rio → London → Boston

I started on the business and finance track: a data-science bootcamp withLe Wagon in London, then Business Analytics & Finance atHult International Business School in Boston. Along the way I took Harvard Extension's DGMD E-14 on wearable devices and computer vision — the course that pulled me toward hardware.

Finance → hardware

I'm a business student who builds real technical things. These days that means moving toward the hardware/software intersection: embedded systems and data science. What pulls me is defense tech, RF, sensing, autonomous vehicles, and fusing data from many sources — and agritech, which for me isn't abstract.

The Brazil mission

My family runs Lepecki Family Coffee, a specialty coffee farm practicing regenerative agriculture. That's the root of the agritech interest. The longer arc is bigger than me: I want to help make Brazil more competitive in agritech and in defense-adjacent technology.

What I'm looking for

I'm looking for internships at the intersection of embedded systems, defense tech, and agritech — places where I can write firmware and work with real sensors and data. I'm also looking for mentors in those fields: people building hardware who are willing to pull a curious business-to-hardware convert along.
